About Zack

My work is a reflection of my lived experiences, drawing from all aspects of my life, past and present. With the use of bold color and painterly abstraction, I evoke critical moments that have sculpted my identity and shaped my worldview. I experiment with textures and a range of mediums to create layers that call back to layers of my memories. Through my work, I seek to provoke introspection and dialogue, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences. My art gives an invitation to pause, to immerse oneself in the canvas, and to engage in moments of emotion and connection. 

Zack works out of the Brickbottom Artists Studios in Somerville, MA. He is on the Brickbottom Artist Association Board.
